Intuit QuickBooks and Sync Services for Inventory and Payment Gateways
OK – Lot’s of people love or hate QuickBooks but they are everywhere and easy to obtain and established. So. Most processors still shy away from integration directly because they don’t have a corporate relationship and QuickBooks is also a ISO processor in “competition” with them.

Simple, a gateway company that hasn’t actually aligned with any “processor” and therefore really doesn’t care who you choose as a processor. So if you decided upon QuickBooks as your accounting software…then you only have two options.
A) QuickBooks online versions – Authorize.Net
$99 One-Time Gateway plus Free QuickBooks Hook
B) DVD/CD-ROM/Software versions – NMI
$99 One-Time Gateway plus $25 One-Time for QuickBooks Hook
C) QuickBooks POS – No Gateway Known
Yes it can be integrated but you would be locked down on your choice of processors/banks and at Intuit’s mercy for rates and fees forever.
We can integrate you via either A or B but not C. We can build your site with C, just can’t hook up the credit card processing piece for you.
The choice is based upon what you choose to utilize. We can hook you up your existing processor (with over 125 processors supported).
We, are however, have a preferred relationship with US Bank/Elavon and they are fully compatible with both Options A and B and are ready to assist you. They work with us frequently and will facilitate matters for you.
How it works
A) You’ll consult with us, and buy the gateway from us – that way you’ll own the gateway – and not your bank. This will give you the chance to reprogram it in the future to another bank or processor should that need arise. Fact is when you buy from your bank or processor they typically own the gateway and you can’t get it reprogrammed creating down time and un-needed expenses.
B) You’ll get a “customer owned” VAR/TEAR sheet issued from your bank or processor when you sign up and you’ll give that to us to program the gateway.
C) We’ll deploy the gateway and program it to your processor and issue the QuickBooks plug-in, after which, you’ll just follow a couple simple instructions to get it working.
Yes, of course, inventory can be synced up to your shopping cart as well. The shopping cart has built in inventory management, but for more complex needs, if you want them to sync up to QuickBooks with your “retail store”, then yes, QuickBooks can manage your online store inventory, additional monthly subscription fees may apply from QuickBooks or a Third-Party vendor or it may be free. It depends upon the number of products and frequency of updates you need done.
